| Cathie Hendrix, a native Oregonian, began her lending career in 1984. Ms. Hendrix’s previous experience includes various management positions in commercial and SBA lending. Most recently Ms. Hendrix was Vice President, Manager for Bank of the Cascades SBA loan department.
Cathie’s recent accomplishments include the prestigious SBA Lender of Excellence award as well as the 2003 Financial Services Advocate of the Year award for the U.S. Small Business Administration’s Region 10 which covers Oregon, Washington, Idaho and Alaska. These awards are given to those recognized as a champion lender for the small business owner. Cathie has also been recognized for special achievements in executive management, commercial insurance and business development programs.
Cathie has attended various professional lending courses through Real Estate Management Association (RMA) and the National Association of Government Guaranteed Lenders (NAGGL).
As a partner in success with the small business owner, Cathie believes in providing the best service possible to her clients when it comes to obtaining an SBA loan. It is Cathie’s expertise and experience that make the process smooth and quick.
Cathie frequently is a guest speaker for local high schools and colleges to share her business expertise to future entrepreneurs. In addition, Cathie has devoted her time as a mentor to children at the middle school level, providing information for a future career in banking.
